Main divisions use a winners bracket and a losers bracket. Winners-bracket matches are five minutes; losers-bracket matches are shortened to three minutes to keep the event moving. The bronze final returns to five minutes. The Absolute remains single elimination.

Submission bonuses are additional to the base podium purse. Event 1 uses a maximum €100 submission-bonus payout per medalist to keep prizes sustainable.

Safety rule
Control the submission.
Heel hooks and advanced leg locks are legal, but submissions must be applied progressively. Intentionally ripping a submission without reasonable time to tap is grounds for disqualification and forfeiture of OSG prize money.
